Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of athyrotic cretinism, Cne month old female infant and 11 month old boy, were-presented.
In both cases thyroid scintigrams revealed no functioning thyroid tissues.
We made diagnosis byrclinical features as well as thyroid scintigram, X-ray survey for bone age and skeletal maturation and biochemical studies.
Review of the literature and references on athyreosis was attempted briefly.
